Layla's having a pretty good day. They turned the rate on her vent down to 35, and she's sitting around 50% on her oxygen. Dr. Maddern decided he's going to change her trach on Sunday instead of today. Lucky for us, Layla's wonderful nurse, Andrea, went to bat for us, so mommy was allowed to hold this morning! Layla was very content being held and is now sleeping peacefully in her bed.
