Greetings from 226! Layla is doing well! Yesterday she moved to a big girl crib and started on bolus feeds. Right now she is fed for two hours and vented for an hour. We're still not up to full feeds (that will likely take another week or so), but we're talking steps to get closer as Layla continues to tolerate it.
Layla is finally having her first trach change today; we had to wait until the bigger, cuffless trach was in stock. Once the trach is changed, Mommy and Daddy can begin learning how to do the special care.
Also - they did an echo yesterday and Layla's heart improved!!
I can't think of any other updates. I continue to be amazed by and grateful for my strong, beautiful daughter!
