The NICU roller coaster is back on. Layla is having a rough day. She's had several Brady's (which means her heart rate drops too low) and she just sort of stopped working, so all of her vent settings had to go all the way back up. They ordered a workup to determine if she is septic, but they think it could also be a morphine sensitivity.
She's doing a little better now. Her oxygen is back to 50 (it had been up to 100), and her rate is back down to 30 (it had been 60). She had an albuterol treatment, and the secretions coming up through her trach aren't too bad.
Her feeds are back up to 2/3 volume, so that's news that's not bad.
Now it's just hoping and praying that our precious little girl isn't septic, and she can get back to recovering!
Update: Layla has a fever, so they're starting antibiotics.

These little guys never make it easy - will be keeping Layla in my prayers...
