Mid-surgery update

Dr. Maddern is done with his part - the trach is in! Layla did better than expected. Her airway looked pretty good - most of the damage is in her lungs (which we expected). Dr. Polous is working his procedures (gtube and nissen) now. Our little fighter continues to surprise us in the best ways. Thank you thank you for the prayers - they're working!!!
